El Cotillo, Fuerteventura on 35mm film

A few weeks ago, my universities surf society and I spent one week in Fuerteventura. We surfed, we sunbathed, we got burnt and we explored the island. El Cotillo was beautiful, so I had an amazing time walking around and taking pictures. I hope you like them!

The following pictures are of the town centre, I would recommend Cafe Central for tapas, Restaurante la Vaca Azul for dinner and Cayote Bar for a nice caipirinha 😜.

On the last day we found a tiny ice cream place on this square, it was called Heladería La Puntilla and it was amazing! 🍦

I don't know what this beach was called, but it was next to Star Surf, the company we went with. At low tide it was the perfect spot to paddle board.

^ This was the beach at high tide.

This beach was where we spent the majority of our time surfing.

Towards the end of the week there was a storm at sea so we went to Corralejo to surf. However, it was too late in the afternoon and the tide was too high. We returned the next morning for an 8am surf which was amazing.

Above are pictures of the Corralejo port where we took a boat to Lobos Island, a little paradise that deserves a post of its own. Watch out for that! 👋

All pictures shot on a Praktica BMS and a Canon Sure Shot MAX.
